I am an art director from india, interested in buying the letus extreme

please tell me sir, in the above video “windsor waltz” why are the edges of the picture darker than the center of the image, is this a technical problem with letus itself or is it because of a particular lense that you have used.

I will hold my purchase decesion till i get a reply from you sir.

My choices are Letus Extreme or SR Pro Blade

    what do u advice

    Thankyou

  • Hi Philip
Really loved the Windsor footage. I have a question about posting films on the web. When working with HD and very large file sizes what would you recommend? I’ve struggled with quicktimes ( they also seem to default to 4:3 )
    Thanks,
    Mark

  • Wow..really made me laugh. Love the shot of the girl and the chip then followed by the ice cream lickers.

  • vignetting all done in post!

  • Beautiful footage indeed. Love the swans especially. Q: what’s causing the dark at the top? A grad filter or vignetting?

  • Beautiful shots! I was directed to your site from a Creative Cow response. I’ve been posting there since last wek trying to get input on the EX-1/3 versus the Panny HVX200A and HPX-170. I’m looking to purchase one of these 4 cameras. All seem to be excellent quality in the sub-$10K (US) range. The biggest question I have now is really workflow related. I do a lot of After Effects work and edit in FCP. Can you point me to any more resources on your site or elsewhere that might help my decision making? So many opinions…thanks a lot and again, very nice shots!

  • Yes indeed, great shots.
You get this intimate feeling from your shot of people. do you get hassled filming in public like you do.

what lens was that on the tele shots.

    Great to see your craftsmanship.

  • What happened to the comment I left yesterday?

  • Have a look at the blog and photos. No Matte box or filters!

  • Hi Phil,

Really nice shot, thank you. You mentioned you were using your Canon 1/2 inch HD lens yes? What else were you using? Matt box & filters?

Thanks for this and all your contributions.

    Joe
