February 4, 2009 at 03:17Hi Phillip,
Love your work, its very inspiring!Just bought the EX1 and trying to work my way round it. To create to speed up effect hove you done this with the time lapse mode on the camera, or the slow mo/speed option?
what settings did you use (depending on which way you created it. and did you have to do any speeding up in post?
Also was wondering if i was to create a video where i utilse the slow mo effect (720p mode) i take it i need to shoot all the whole of the video in 720p or can i film most of it HQ 1080 25p and just shoot the slow mo bits in 720 25p. Can i then out put the project through the edit at 1920 x 1080 or do i have to really output the final render as 720 25p and downscale the 1920 x 1080 footage in the render?
Sorry for the long questions!Just really want to be able to get the most out of the camera!
Thanks in advance
All the best
mark

December 2, 2008 at 08:02Loved it, you have produced an enjoyable film from something that would annoy us (especially when on holiday). Well done.

August 21, 2008 at 18:20Yep, that is why it is called Glass Insomnia after Philip Glass and his music and the style of Ron Fricke in Koyaanasqatsi

August 21, 2008 at 18:01Great film, you do amazing work. Also, is this the same music from Koyanasquatsi?? I believe it was written by Philip Glass if i’m not mistaken. Again, great work!!
