Hello Philip? Can you help me? I have a Letus extreme and use a lens Zeiss 50mm 1.4. What lens are you using this demo? “35mm adaptor demo: The Letus Extreme” She seems to be great for the lens “Zeiss 50mm 1.4″

Andrew. Are you using an ex1? Do you have the optimization kit?

also your delay issue is because you have steadyshot on. take it off, it doesn’t work with adaptors.

we are having the worst time agjusting the letus on the camera…cant seem to line it up, or get it to not vignette…please help.

The Rookie Videographer with an HV20

Hello Mr. Philip,

I’m a recent graduate of Documentary Production. The university’s Avid System crashed and I lost my documentary. Since then I’ve had to rebuild my reel. I have an HV20. I’m excited that the Letus can work on my camera and only for 1000.00 Is there something else you’d recommend for my camera? And is there a place where you explain online how one can break down how to utilize Final Cut Pro settings with the camera? What lenses to use? What can I use? Limitations? etc…

I’ve been thinking about getting a EX3 and a lotus adapter to shoot my feature. I was wondering if the quality you get using this “tandem” is any different from what you’d get using a EX1 and the 35mm adapter.

Why do you recommend prime lenses?

I have a heap of excellent Nikon zoom lenses for my Nikon D3 – what’s wrong with using zoom lenses?

You’re a good man! I’ve been hearing of the Letus and seeing your excellent films, but until seeing this video I still had only a vague idea whether it was convenient enough for me to use in my kit. By golly, I think it might just be something even I could figure out! Now I just need to find some used prime lenses. I’ve been scanning ebay for them and not having much luck yet. I’ll keep trying.

One question about the “golden rule”; is it difficult to keep within the 5.6 boundary? Will a common 3-light setup and a 50mm 1.8 lens do the job? How about outdoors in daylight with a 50mm 1.8?
